Reveal the Shield deluxe Optimus Prime reviewed

The movie universe isn't the first time Optimus Prime took on a longnose truck form. Back in the Generation 2 era, one of the most posable and fondly remembered Optimus Primes was released, and in 2011 the "Reveal the Shield" line pays homage to that figure. Check out's review of this new release!

The first Botcon 2011 "Transformers Animated" exclusive revealed: Dead End!

The new Botcon 2011 site has gone live, and with it a preview of one of the many figures fans can expect to see at the convention: Animated Dead End! That's right! The theme will involve at least one "Animated" version of classic G1 characters. Go now to check out the pics!

The Twitter fans have been waiting for, Botcon 2011's theme revealed!

Earlier on The Botcon Twitter feed it was revealed that the theme for the set will be "Transformers Animated" with the story focusing on events after the series' third and final season. Who will be in the set remains to be seen, but rest assured it will be something fun as "Animated" lead Derrick Wyatt was revealed to be an instrumental player on the development of the set! Future news will likely be posted on Twitter and The Botcon web site, so keep those scanners peeled!

Recently, Fortune Magazine listed the makers of "Transformers", Hasbro one of the top one hundred companies to work for. They credit their employee friendly "half day Fridays" and time devoted to children as factors in this decision. A Fortune blogger recently went into Hasbro as an "undercover employee" for a day to get a sense of what working at the company is like.
