Dark of the Moon toys now available in stores!

For those fans who have been clamoring for Transformers "Dark of the Moon" Transformers figures, your wait (may be) over. Reports are coming in from stores such as Sears and Target that the "Dark of the Moon" toys are being released at retail way ahead of their original May 16th street date, so go get'em! celebrates this early release by launching its first two regular Dark of the Moon toy reviews. First, take a look at Autobot Topspin from the Legion Class, the main troops of the new "Cyberverse". Then check out my review of deluxe Bumblebee in his new Chevrolet Camaro concept form with Mech Tech weapon!

The time fans have waited for has arrived. This afternoon debuts the NEW "Transformers Dark of the Moon" trailer. Unlike the uneven tone of "Revenge of the Fallen", this film looks like it is seeking to be an incredible alien invasion movie with Autobots and Decepticons. The day you've been waiting for is here! No, not the new Dark of the Moon trailer (that's tomorrow). Instead, the Transformers Collector's Club Store has put up their pre-orders for the long awaited Transformers Animated Cheetor ($52.00 for club members) and G2 Redux Ramjet ($58.00 for club members). While we don't have any images for the latest figure, or even a name, we do have the release date and pricing. This figure is declared 'New' by the early solicitations coming out of Japan and has a retail price of 22,000 yen, which is about $265US based on current exchange rates. Preorders have been listed at $249.99 and the figure, whoever it is, is expected in September. Reserve yours now - we expect more news next week:

Linkin Park and Steve Jablonsky discuss the music of "Transformers Dark of the Moon"

The first two Transformers feature films featured a score from Steve Jablonsky and music from Linkin Park. "Dark of the Moon" will have the same musicians returning to provide music for the new movie. According to the video below, "Iridescent", one of Linkin Park's latest hits will be featured in the upcoming Transformers film. Take a look at the video below:

"Transformers Headmasters" DVD boxed set artwork released

in Headmaster, News has posted a listing for the upcoming Headmasters DVD set. For the first time ever, the Shout! Factory will be releasing the entire season of "Headmasters" that aired in Japan instead of the "Rebirth" series that aired in the United States. Fans have wanted something like this for ages and I for one am super excited to own this series on an official U.S. release!
