"Revenge of the Fallen" Deluxe Dead End reviewed

Most of the time only headliner characters like Starscream or Bumblebee get multiple versions of themselves as action figures, and very few are produced that represent more than one incarnation of the character. In this case however, it was one that never even appeared on screen: Dead End. First a Scout Class figure, he is now a deluxe and you can read my review of the figure here!

"Revenge of the Fallen" Fast Action Battler Jetfire reviewed

Just when you think Kup is one of the oldest, crankiest Transformers out there, Hasbro introduces one that has him beat by a mile. In "Revenge of the Fallen" that title goes to Jetfire, once a Decepticon and now one of the last hopes for Earth's survival. Check out my review of Photon Missile Jetfire to see an interesting take on the character.

"Revenge of the Fallen" to be honored at Hollywood Awards

While it was critically panned and berated for negative stereotyping, there's no denying that "Revenge of the Fallen" was a special effects bonanza. According to the LA Times, the Hollywood Film Festival Awards will be honoring the movie for this accomplishment on October 26. You can read the entire article here.

Save the date, on July 1st 2011 Robots in Disguise will take over the box office once again

On his latest blog, "Transformers" film directory Michael Bay has announced that July 1, 2011 is the tentative release date for the next Transformers film. According to the blog "Currently I'm flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.". Originally it was thought the film would not be released until 2012, but this shows Paramount and Hasbro's willingness to fasttrack a new film, which is a great sign.

Robot Powered Machines section opened!

2009 has brought a whole new sub-line of Transformers known as the "Robot Powered Machines". These vehicle based toys range from radio controlled cars to "Hot Wheels" style vehicles. "Revenge of the Fallen" Fast Action Battler Sideswipe reviewed

This is one Autobot who knows how to handle his blades! Sideswipe rolled into battle early in "Revenge of the Fallen", showing that he had what it took to take on the Decepticons. Now younger fans can play with a transformable version of this figure with Fast Action Battler Sideswipe. Read his review and see pictures here.

Reuters is reporting that Paramount will soon be putting up hundreds of props and costumes from the live action "Transformers" movies. This even includes one of the prop robots (currently disassembled in crates)! You can read the entire article here.

"Revenge of the Fallen" Dune Runner reviewed

In the Transformers live action movies, Sector 7 employed the use of dune buggies armed to fight Transformers. In the first movie toy line, the Autobot Landmine took on this alternate form. Now another Autobot takes on the form of the Chenowth Dune Buggy. He is Dune Runner and you can read his review here.
