"Revenge of the Fallen" world premiere in Tokyo, Japan

With its opening date fast approaching, "Revenge of the Fallen" had its premiers in Tokyo, Japan. What more appropriate place to have such a premiere than the very land that brought us Transformers twenty five years ago? Stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, and Isabel Lucas were all on hand for this event. Celebrity Gossip has posted several photos from the event showing each of the cast members who attended the premiere.

IMAX "Revenge of the Fallen" to reveal extended robot mayhem!

"Revenge of the Fallen" director Michael Bay has posted on his Shoot for the edit blog about the extended cut of "Revenge of the Fallen" to be shown on IMAX. Bay says "For IMAX, I created a slightly longer cut with more robot fighting.

While he borrows a name from a G1 character, this green Autobot takes more inspiration from a Beast Machines Vehicon. Take a look at the review for Legends Springer to see this interesting take on the character.

New "Revenge of the Fallen" footage from the MTV Movie Awards

New footage from "Revenge of the Fallen" footage was shown during the MTV Movie Awards. The footage shows several Decepticons led by Starscream pursuing Mikaela and Sam through the desert. The Decepticons include Long Haul, Ravage and the "insect" Transformer seen in previous footage.

Botcon 2009 Blog/Review and Gallery!

I'm back from Botcon 2009 and I thought I'd share my thoughts about the convention with everyone. This is not a traditional "news report" but more of an editorial on the event, Transformers and what it means to me. Check that out in the events section. Tyrese Gibson interviewed by Men's Health Magazine

The June 2009 issue of Men's Health Magazine features an interview with "Revenge of the Fallen" actor Tyrese Gibson. Gibson discusses how he found motivation to get in shape and take control of his career. "He lost a sense of consequence, he says. It's easy to do: Accomplish something and your attitude can go from I'm working hard for this to This is mine." the article states, and getting out of that attitude was critical to his current success.

LA Times interviews "Revenge of the Fallen" director Michael Bay

The LA Times recently interviewed "Transformers" director Michael Bay about his work in Hollywood. The article discusses his thoughts on Hollywood, stress and his work philosophy. Among my favorite lines from the article "...and even after 15 years of making feature films, he still positions himself as a contrarian outsider who is offended by peers who, as a group, he views as too slow, arty, wasteful and indulgent.".

BWTF opens up "Revenge of the Fallen" toy review section

It's coming to the end of May, and the mass release of "Revenge of the Fallen" toys is near! In celebration of this, BWTF opens up its "Revenge of the Fallen" toy review section. First up are reviews of four Fast Action Battlers: Pulse Cannon Bumblebee, Electro Whip Jolt, Megatron and Double Blade Optimus Prime.
