TV Shows: Writer Len Wein passes away at the age of 69
A post on Marvel's Facebook page confirms the passing of writer and editor Len Wein. Wein was an influential force for decades in comic books, having co-created several X-Men characters including Wolverine. He also created DC characters including Suicide Squad's Amanda Waller. He is also known for being involved in Alan Moore's legendary Watchmen series.
Transformers fans will know Wein best from his work on the classic Generation One episode "Webworld" where Galvatron is committed to an insane asylum. He then went on to write the "Beast Wars" episode "Tangled Web", then "Savage Noble" for "Beast Machines" and more recently "Cover Me" for "Robots in Disguise".
BWTF sends its condolences to Wein's family and friends.
