Revenge of the Fallen Demolishor Reviewed

Featured in the teaser trailer and subsequent trailers was a weird Decepticon rolling on one wheel causing mass destruction. That Decepticon is Demolishor, one of the first Voyager Class releases in the "Revenge of the Fallen" toy line. Check out my review of Demolishor here.

Your opinion, not fact...

You don't have to like the toy mate... As I've said.
Your "loosing respect" for some based on their opinion of what they feel is cool or not is silly.
You don't like him, then, as I said, fine. But that's your opinion, and guess what? Don't buy him. Some of us do like him, that is equally fine.
So how's about we call it even? Or are you still going to blast people who like things a bit different?

Demolishor review

Um, I think ol' Ben is drinking the Hasbro kool-aid. To give a good review to the most ridiculous-looking Transformer in history tells me that he's one of those blind followers of the pretty lame Transformers movie franchise. Honestly, this is one of the poorest designs for a Transformer I've ever seen, and you spend the whole review making excuses for it.

Mr. Yee has a long way to go to get his credibility back with me.

Demolisher review reply...

To each their own mate.
I may not agree with every review Ben makes, but on this one I do. When I first saw the teaser/preview with Demolisher(maybe even Scavenger?) I was blown away with the ballsiness to have such a TFer on/for the Big screen. I mean, crap, other than the cool and fresh designs of the Vehicons in Beast Machines, I have never seen such a thing. And make no mistake Demolisher is a "thing", but that's what makes his design so amazing IMO. You may not like it/him, and that's fine, but don't go bad mouthing Ben or anybody just because they do. I'm a Huge fan of the original series, and loved the toys(for the most part, I mean really Armada toys were on a whole, a huge let down to me in the engineering and posability after the whole Beast Era toys) that came afterwards, but not really the shows that accompanied them(Japanese TFer shows give me a headache).
Anyway, I can see why a lot of "purests" of TFers, can dislike the live action designs, and I can simpathize to a point, but guess what, I will always have the Classic series of Toys and practically the whole collection of G1 toys and series eps to keep me in the green...but I do love the newer ones as well and I also adore the creative designs and the engineering of the newer toys and the characters that they are meant to represent.

Don't care about G1 ...

I'm not comparing it to G1, nor do I have any yearning to see the old cartoon. This thing is just a stupid-looking toy. The only thing "amazing" (as you put it) about his design is how amazingly ugly it is.
