The next line of "Generations" figures was announced officially at San Diego Comic-Con, and fans have seen photos of the figures already but we have yet to see sharp, higher res product photos...until today! Thanks to a series of new listings on Takara Tomy Mall we now have listings for the Autobots from (presumably) the first waves of "Siege". The final Deluxe Class Autobot in the "Power of the Primes" is Novastar, a retool and redeco of "Power of the Primes" Moonracer based on the G1 character, Firestar. This figure has begun to trickle in to retail stores but online orders have largely been relegated to pre-ordering the Takara Tomy version (and those pre-orders are largely sold out). Now thanks to Amazon fans can pre-order the figure at the regular retail price of $16.99!
The Hasbro Youtube Channel has posted a commercial for the upcoming "Energon Igniter" action figures for the live action "Bumblebee" movie. The commercial shows off the play pattern of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee where inserting an Energon "Igniter" cube allows the vehicle to move in vehicle mode. While the commercial says the cube can also be used in robot mode, it does not show the actual action feature in that form. Check out the commercial in the embed below:
