Interviews: Bob Prupis and Dan Gilvezan

in News

In celebration of the "Thrilling 30" year of "Transformers", BWTF has reached through the Space Bridges of time to assemble a collection of interviews from various talents who have contributed to "Transformers" over the years! Today kicks off this series of interviews with a trip back to the beginning of "Transformers"!

First up is an interview with Bob Prupis, former Vice President of Boy's Toys at Hasbro. If it weren't for Mr. Prupis, we may not even have "Transformers" today!

Along with a look at the toy line, we also have a look at the entertainment side via my interview with Dan Gilvezan, voice actor extraordinaire most known for voicing Bumblebee (remember when he could talk?). It's been almost 10 years since BWTF last interviewed Dan, so this was a great opportunity to catch up.

Toy Review: Mighty Muggs Autobot Jazz

in Autobot, Generation One, Mighty Muggs, News

Autobot Jazz is not one to simply charge onto the battlefield and take on the enemy without some sense of style! Whether it's blasting his favorite music or performing acrobatic feats in battle, Jazz believes that if you can't do it with style, it's not worth doing! My latest Mighty Muggs review takes a look at Autobot Jazz.

Toy Review: Generations Voyager Class Springer

in Autobot, Generation One, Generations, News, Triple Changer, Voyager

When challenged with overwhelming odds, Springer is more likely to make a sarcastic quip and go on the offensive than he is to retreat. This daring Autobot has been responsible for many victories as part of the Wreckers thanks in part to his ability to change into three forms! Check out my review of Generations Springer!
