Sometimes Transformers news seems to come out of left field, and today's news from Takara Tomy is one of those instances. Takara Tomy Mall has announced that in 2023 it will release two crossover Transformers figures with the Canon camera brand. The characters represented will be Optimus Prime and (naturally) Reflector.
Takara Tomy Mall has posted its listing for Kingdom Red Alert, representing the character with his "Earth Mode". This figure was briefly available on Hasbro Pulse but sold out quickly and has already shipped. The wider release of the figure is supposed to come out at Walgreens stores in the United States, but there have not yet been any mass sightings reported.
Originally introduced as a villain in the G1 "Return of Convoy" series, Super Megatron was finally made into toy form by Takara Tomy as part of the Selects series. Check out his comic below translated by fellow fan Doug Dlin!
