Back in 2022 Super 7 released a 6" Unicron figure based on the unreleased prototype of the character from the 80's (which you can see on The TFWiki. Today, Super 7 posted a listing for a redeco of that figure in colors based on the very first Unicron prototype created (preceding the more well known one from the 80's). Super 7 has posted official images of the upcoming Beast Wars "ReAction" series of figures online along with product information. These retro-style figures are based on the animation models from the 90's cartoon and each features five points of articulation. Each figure retails for about $20 USD and they are due to ship between June-July 2023.

It may be incredible to think about but we are already nearing the end of 2021, and with it comes the Holiday season. In celebration of that season Super 7 has posted pre-orders for an unexpected figure: Optimus Prime Santa! This wacky figure is a redeco and retool of the previously released Optimus Prime figure from the ReAction line featuring Optimus wearing a Santa hat and featuring a green and red Christmas themed deco. This past week Super 7 and Target posted pre-orders for two new exclusive ReAction figures. Both figures are redecos of the Optimus Prime and Megatron figures in gold, based on their appearance in from the G1 episode "The Golden Lagoon". Each figure was $17.99 and they are due out February 6, 2022. Pre-orders sold out in a day, but it is likely these will be on shelf in Target stores like previous Super 7 figures. The retro themed Transformers ReAction figures line continues to expand with the announcement of four figures based on the 1986 animated theatrical film! The four figures revealed are King Starscream, Galvatron, Hot Rod and "Fallen Leader" Optimus Prime. These are not yet up for pre-order. The Facebook post (embedded below) indicates these will be available later this month to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the film. The packaging even features the colorful "Transformers: The Movie" logo! For now we have some nice preview pics to admire in all their retro goodness!
The folks at Super 7 have posted pre-order listings for the second wave of ULTIMATES! Transformers figures! This wave includes quite the mix showing much love for the G1 era. Featuring Bludgeon, Grimlock (dino mode), Megatron and Tracks, these figures have a ton of amazing accessories and pay homage to both the G1 animated series and comic books! Recently Super 7 revealed its line of Ultimates figures bringing G1 characters into the realm of 7 inch figures with accessories. Now Super 7 has revealed the next two waves of these figures via Facebook. The upcoming waves will be featuring a rather ecclectic mixture of characters ranging from a G1 Megatron to Bludgeon! IDW Publishing fans will be thrilled to see that the popular character Tarn will also be joining the line.
