Toy News: Takara Tomy Announces "Masterpiece" MP-53+B DiaBurnout

Back in April Takara Tomy revealed Masterpiece Reboost and Skids, two figures based on the "Honda City Turbo" vehicle form originally seen in G1 and the Diaclone toy line that preceded it. Now Takara Tomy Mall has posted a listing for a third variation of the sculpt also based on a Diaclone variant: DiaBurnout! This variant features a new head sculpt and a striking black deco.

Collectible News: Official Photos of "Flame Toys" Furai Model Arcee

Flame Toys has posted its official listing for their upcoming Furai Arcee Model kit. Arcee is priced at $55 USD (but they have a discounted pre-order price of $48 USD).  The kit is due out in May 2023.  The kit is made up of ABS plastic while the joints are soft plastic.  The figure stands at about 160 mm (about 6.29 inches).  For now, check out the images in the gallery below.

Collectible News: Official Photos with Product Info for "Bishoujo" Megatron & Optimus Prime

Back in February, Kotobukiya announced two "Bishoujo" style statues based on Optimus Prime and Megatron. Movie News: "Rise of the Beasts" Notebook Reveals Optimus Prime Design

The Russian retail site Wildberries has posted a listing for a Rise of the Beasts notebook featuring an image of Optimus Prime on the front and what looks like ancient carvings of animals on the back. The Optimus Prime is essentially a version of the Optimus Prime we saw in the Bumblebee movie, which makes sense since this is a sequel to that film. More interesting is the "carving" which features several animals that represent classic Beast Wars characters.

Toy News: Hasbro Announces "Transformers/G.I. Joe" Collaborative Set

The moment that fans of both the Transformers and G.I. Joe fandom have waited decades for is finally upon us. At today's Hasbro Pulse G.I. Joe stream, Hasbro announced the first Collaboration series set featuring the two iconic brands crossing over! In the past, G.I. Joe vehicles have been repainted as Transformers characters but this is the first time a figure has been made to fit a 3 3/4" Joe figure and transform into one of the main characters from the Transformers brand!

Movies: Paramount Confirms "Transformers" Movie Slate

With the delay of Rise of the Beasts into 2023, news has been a bit quiet on the movie front lately. Today however, Paramount+ announced via Twitter the plans for the upcoming theatrical films.

Rise of the Beasts will be released in 2023 and serves as the first film of a new trilogy. Meanwhile, a CG animated film will be released in theaters in 2024. Check out the Tweet embedded below.
