On April 27, 2021 PBS Newshour aired a segment about the emerging Cicada population in the United States. The segment "Cicada season: What to expect from the coming brood" is pretty standard fare at first (but fun if you are into nature). Towards the latter half of the segment, Chris Simon from the University of Connecticut presents some Cicada themed merchandise including Beast Wars Cicadacon! The aerial member of the Tripredacus team pops up around the 4:36 mark and Simon even explains he is a Transformers figure.
Transformers: War for Cybertron Kingdom is the latest chapter in the War for Cybertron trilogy of action figures and Netflix's animated series. While the toys have been hitting shelves for months now, the new season of the Netflix show does not debut until July (along with Wave 3 of the toy line). Today's Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest event was choc full of reveals for Transformers and one of the most significant parts of the presentation were reveals from Kingdom!
