The second film in the live action movie series greatly expanded the Transformers toy line.  In addition to the traditional Scout, Deluxe, Voyager and Leader size classes new types of figures including Power Bots, Gravity Bots and Robot Replicas were added to the line.

In the days of Diaclone, the toy that would eventually become G1 Hoist had variants that were never made part of the Transformers toy line.  Now one of these Diaclone figures has become the inspiration for a Generations Selects figure: Lift-Ticket!  Check out my review and gallery of this new release!

After its previous tease of a new Premium Finish reveal, Takara Tomy Mall has posted its official listing for the fifth figure in the Premium Finish line. This time out it is a redeco of Studio Series "Revenge of the Fallen" Optimus Prime! This figure will feature a more screen accurate deco and will include Optimus Prime's blasters and sword blades. The figure is priced at 6,380 Yen (about $55 USD). It currently has a release date of July 30, 2022.
