Toy News: Tonkanator's Tech Specs Released

Ben MacCrae is a member of the Transformers brand team and thanks to him we have a new tid-bit about the recently revealed Tonkanator: his tech specs!  Thanks to his post on Instagram, we now have some behind-the-scenes thoughts on the Collaborative set and a peek at the tech specs!  Check them out below.

Introducing Tonkanator! This one was fun to create. It’s more of a what if all the iconic Tonka vehicles stumbled upon the Enigma of Combination and formed an #Autobot version of Devastator.

Toy News: Official Product Info & Images for "Beast Wars" Monopoly

Thanks to the folks at Toy Snowman in Canada, we now have a product description and official images of the upcoming Beast Wars Monopoly board game!  This is a bit of a stealth release as stores outside the United States have begun taking pre-orders (Toy Snowman appears sold out) but there has been no official announcement by Hasbro, nor are the usual online retailers in the United States listing it (yet).  Toy Snowman lists the game at $56 USD but no word on what actual U.S.

Toy News: What's with those "Legacy" weapons anyhow? Hasbro's Mark Maher Reveals the Answer!

Since the Legacy line launched, fans have noticed the figures come with all sorts of interesting weapons including Kickback's "blade weapons" and Skids' axe.  Now thanks to Hasbro's Mark Maher, we have an official explanation for them.  Riffing off a gimmick from Energon, these weapons are meant to go together to form combinations that are only limited by your imagination (okay, and their inherent design).  Check out the info from Mark's Instagram and images below:
