Back in April Hasbro officially revealed Kingdom Rhinox. Back in the days of Generation 2, many figures were planned but never released.  One of these was a Seeker jet known as Sandstorm (no, not that Sandstorm).  Now Hasbro has finally made this figure a reality in Generations Selects!  Check out my review and gallery of this blast from the past.

Hasbro is holding an online event on Friday, so fans knew some news was on the way this week and now it looks like we may have a clue as to at least one piece of news: the upcoming release of Generations Selects Artfire! Thanks to the folks at In Demand Toys we now have our first look at official photos of Artfire with his Targetmaster partner and Blast Effects!

A few days ago images were posted online of an upcoming sub-series of Transformers called the "Premium Finish" series. The series appears to focus on providing new and well, premium quality decos to mass release figures from the past. The first two figures shown were Siege Optimus Prime and Studio Series Bumblebee from the "Bumblebee" movie.

In a surprise move, Hasbro Pulse and Amazon have posted a pre-order listing for a Kingdom two pack featuring Maximal Grimlock and "Earth mode" Mirage!  Grimlock is a retool and redeco of Kingdom Dinobot while Mirage is a redeco and retool of Siege Mirage (the changes are subtle, but they're there including the knees and shoulders).  Pre-order now via this link to reserve your set and support BWTF! In an out of the blue reveal, In Demand Toys has revealed that Takara Tomy will be releasing a series of figures under the "Premium Finish" name. The implication is that these figures will feature "premium" decos compared to their mass release counterparts. The photos posted by In Demand show Siege Optimus Prime and Studio Series Volkswagon Beetle Bumblebee as the first two releases in this series. However, the photos are a bit fuzzy and it is hard to tell just how extensively the decos have been changed.

Fellow fan site TFW2005 has reported some new listings for the Studio Series line of movie based figures. There is a lot to absorb here as the line continues to expand beyond the traditional "Bayverse" characters. From the Bumblebee Movie fans can expect characters seen in the exciting opening scene on Cybertron including Brawn and Ratchet! Then on the other side we have more characters coming from the "1986" sub-line of Studio Series figures. These include Perceptor and a Junkion named Junkyard.

As a follow up to previous listings of Wal-Mart Exclusive Transformers figures, Hasbro Pulse has posted orders for the four Deluxe Class War for Cybertron: Kingdom Netflix figures.  They are all currently on the "New" page but here are individual links for you to use:
