Generation 2

Takara Tomy has posted its official listing and images for the recently announced T-Spark G2 Menasor gift set!  Previously Hasbro had released three figures using the unreleased G2 Stunticons as their inspiration.  However, they never completed the set, and now it looks like Takara Tomy has taken it upon themselves to put one out!  The set features all new decos, so there are no re-releases in this set.  Pre-orders have begun to appear online (including on Amazon Japan).  Check out the info and images from

Thanks to nune and XenoXX121 from TFW2005, we have our first look at stock photos of an upcoming Age of the Primes 2-Pack featuring the G2 versions of Sludge and Swoop!  Technically speaking, there never were any G2 Sludge or Swoop figures released but they were planned as box art revealed in the "Legacy" art book.  In a really fun touch, Swoop has a new head sculpt featuring "visor" eyes like those found on the G1

Thanks to the folks over at In Demand Toys UK we have our first semi-official look at the upcoming Legacy Road Pig!  This character first appeared as "Laser Cycle" in Generation 2, featuring a light up weapon.  This new version of the figure does not light up, but it features translucent parts in pink that echo the weapon of the original.  It also appears to include a ninja star weapon from the Legacy "Animated" Prowl sculpt.  He also has the G2 Decepticon symbol and the word "Transformers" printed on in

Take a trip back in time to 1994 when Generation 2 was underway and Transformers fans were introduced to the subgroup known as the "Gobots".  In Italy however they were known as the"Tecnobots" with different names than their American counterparts!  Check out in package images and translations of their tech specs here!
