Toy News: HasLab Victory Saber Updates Shows Off Engineering Sample

After many months without a significant update, we finally get to see where the HasLab Victory Saber project stands.  Hasbro has posted a video that gives fans a look at the Victory Saber Engineering Sample and every mode for both Star Saber and Victory Leo.  I took some notes while watching the video and you'll find over 50 screen caps in the gallery below.  You can watch the video on Hasbro's site here.

HasLab News: Updates on Victory Saber's Box Art

Hasbro Pulse has posted an update for Victory Saber backers! This time out the focus is on the box art progress for the set. The update reveals that Transformers artist extraordinaire, Guido Guidi has been commissioned to create this artwork. It will also incorporate the classic grid lines from the cartoon's opening credits making for a modern take on the characters with retro elements.

HasLab: Hasbro to Interview Voice Actor Christopher Sabat about Victory Saber

In a surprise post, the Official Transformers Facebook Page has posted about an interview with Voice Actor Christopher Sabat at 2PM EDT today. Sabat's past credits include being a voice director on Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker and more. Interestingly, Sabat has no known Transformers voice acting or directing credits to his name which makes this interview a bit of a mystery.

Toy News: HasLab Posts Unicron Transformation Video (bonus: scans of the instruction booklet!)

For a few weeks now fans who backed the gigantic HasLab Unicron action figure have started to receive their Unicron figures (others are still waiting for delivery notifications, unfortunately).  With such a large figure it is not surprising that some fans find the transformation of the figure daunting.  To that end, Hasbro has posted an official video showing the conversion from planet mode (the mode it is packed in) to robot mode!  As a bonus, I've scanned the instructions included with the figure and included them in this post.  Enjoy!
