Today Hasbro Pulse held its annual online event known as Pulsecon. With events like Hasbro’s Toy Fair Fan Media day seemingly in the past, these offer a fun way for the various project teams to present upcoming product for the next year. Thanks to JTPrime on TFW2005 we have our first look at (what appear to be) stock photos of the upcoming Legacy Speedia 500 Hot Rod! This figure is a redeco of the Studio Series 86 Hot Rod based on the deco of the original G1 Hot Rod action figure. There has been no official announcement about this figure yet, but for now you can check out the images in the gallery below!
Thanks to the folks at In Demand Toys in the UK we have our first official look at Crasher and Shadowstrip from Wave 2 of the Velocitron capsule program (exclusive to Wal-Mart in the United States)! Crasher is a redeco of Mirage while Shadowstrip is a redeco of Dragstrip based on his G2 deco.
TFW2005 user python5003 has found two of the second wave of Legacy Velocitron figures in K-Mart in New Zealand. The two figures are Shadowstrip, a G2 inspired redeco of Dragstrip and Crasher, a redeco of Earthrise Mirage based on the Gobot of the same name. Takara Tomy Mall has posted new listings for several upcoming Legacy action figures including Deluxe Class Skullgrin and Voyager Class Starscream! The Deluxe Class figures are priced at 3,850 yen (about $26.66 USD) and the Voyagers are listed at 5,830 yen (about $40.37 USD).
