In what is likely an premature information leak, online retailer Zavvi has sent out a mailer announcing Generations Selects Black Zarak!  In Generation One, the Black Zarak figure was a redeco and retool of Scorponok, but it was made up in part of

Hot on the heels of this morning's Rodimus Prime reveal, Hasbro has unleashed pre-orders for a previously unannounced Generations Selects figure: G2 Ramjet! Featuring the character's snazzy purple and black deco based on the 1993 figure, this figure joins G2 Megatron as another figure paying homage to the unique era after G1.

Earlier this week, Hasbro Pulse opened a new section for Partner Exclusives where a limited number of store exclusive toys were listed for sale. First up was Wave 1 of the Walmart exclusive R.E.D. series. Now the section has been updated with the Amazon exclusive "Galactic Odyssey" Dominus Criminal Pursuit 2-Pack featuring Barricade and Punch/Counterpunch!

In 1986 a curious Mini-Bot was released named Hubcap.  This character never appeared in the popular cartoon but over the years he would pop up here and there in G1 based fiction.  Last year, Hasbro released a version in the Generations Selects line!  Check out my review and gallery of this figure.

In a surprise afternoon reveal, Hasbro has opened up orders for a surprise Transmutate figure! Based on the character who appeared in the Beast Wars episode "Transmutate", the character made a huge impression on fans over the years even though she only appeared in one episode of the television show. This figure is a retool and redeco of Paleotrex featuring a new head and a deco based on her colors from the TV show, this is definitely one of the most unusual releases in Selects to date!
