This past week Hasbro Pulse surprised Transformers fans when they revealed reissues of the special edition "Golden Lagoon" Transformers figures.  These were based on the Generation One episode of the same name.  Taking an eclectic assortment of figures, Takara Tomy had given them all gold decos featuring a mixture of gold parts and vacuum metallized gold.  These were a rather limited set of figures and most fans just moved on after their initial release.  Then came last week when Hasbro Pulse posted several listings for their own versions of these "Golden Lagoon"
