In August 2024 DJ Excision performed a set at Bass Canyon Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington to a crowd of 27,000 attendees. Excision is a life-long Transformers fan, and his early music took inspiration from the sounds of Transformers. The footage from the concert below shows off what appears to be some animation created especially for this event (you can also watch a highlight reel here as I cannot embed it). Back in May, Hasbro announced that the Beast Wars Transformers soundtrack would be released in June 2024. However, June came and went with no word on the soundtrack. Finally, Ben's World of Transformers has received an update today that the release date has been updated to Friday, August 23, 2024! The original announcement is below for your reference, but keep the new date in mind.

Beast Machines does not come up often in Transformers news. The series was the follow up to the very popular Beast Wars Transformers and proved divisive among Transformers fans. One thing that is for sure is that its soundtrack was very different than the one used in Beast Wars. Beast Wars had a "rock and roll" styled soundtrack with lots of guitar and drum work. When Beast Machines came around, it took on a more techno/club music type feel which aligned with its scifi/Cybertronian setting.

Now here's something wonderful and unexpected. The Official Hasbro China Weibo Account has posted a video featuring a group of musicians using traditional Chinese Instruments to play the G1 theme song from the 80's! The group is accompanied by imagery of Transformers products including an Arcee statue, Kingdom Airazor, Rhinox, Megatron and more.
