Transformers has always been a science fiction show that took inspiration (and sometimes sound effects) from other science fiction/fantasy programs. Now the tables have turned with the most recent episode of Star Trek: Picard taking inspiration from the opening scene of The Transformers: The Movie! In the 1986 film, we are introduced to the character of Unicron as he passes in between two suns. In "Picard", the Starship Titan is hiding out near a sun.
