Included in today's Takara Tomy Rise of the Beasts/Beast Awakening updates are reveals of the "Kurutto Change" Bumblebee and Nightbird. These appear to be a new type of auto-transforming figure possibly featuring a rubber band piece that is connected throughout the figure. The newly published Takara Tomy Rise of the Beasts (aka Beast Awakening) site has posted images and a video showing off the upcoming 3-Step Changer (aka "Pa! Pa! Pa!" according to Google Translate) Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime toys. The Optimus Prime toy was already released as part of the Cyberverse line (though many fans figured out it was a Rise of the Beasts toy pretty quickly).
Takara Tomy has launched its official Rise of the Beasts site! Included with this launch is a page featuring character models from the film. The Commander Class was introduced to Transformers fans in 2019 with the release of Siege Jetfire, heavily based on his G1 cartoon appearance and featuring neat gimmicks to boot. This figure was an instant hit and sold out very quickly. Since then, additional production runs have been done that also sold out. Hasbro Pulse and Walmart have posted official images and product information for the next wave of Retro G1 figures featuring G1 sculpts with decos inspired by the 1986 animated film. This wave is particularly exciting as it features Hound, a G1 sculpt that has only seen limited reissues in the past couple decades.
