HasLab: Hasbro to Interview Voice Actor Christopher Sabat about Victory Saber
In a surprise post, the Official Transformers Facebook Page has posted about an interview with Voice Actor Christopher Sabat at 2PM EDT today. Sabat's past credits include being a voice director on Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker and more. Interestingly, Sabat has no known Transformers voice acting or directing credits to his name which makes this interview a bit of a mystery.
Toy News: Official Photos for "Cyberverse" Ultra Class Ramjet
A few weeks ago a photo popped up online showing a previously unknown Ultra Class Ramjet figure from the Cyberverse toy line. While the character has appeared as a smaller figure, this was the first in a larger scale for the line. Now thanks to a listing on Amazon, we have official photos for this figure! There is no official description on Amazon and no listing exists on Hasbro's web site. This figure is priced at $20.99 on Amazon and is due to ship soon. For now, enjoy the photos below:
Toy News: Official Product Images & Information for "Cyberverse" Bumbleswoop and Slugtron
While the Generations line gets a lot of attention from the marketing perspective, other lines such as Cyberverse have been quietly releasing new toys in stores and online. Most recently the Cyberverse line has pivoted to a focus on the Dinobots (a move similarly done by other figures aimed at younger fans). Toy News: Official Product Description & Images of "Collaborative" Draculus
This morning both Hasbro Pulse and Target launched their pre-orders for the newest in the Collaborative series of Transformers: Draculus! Based on the Universal Studios version of Dracula, this brings Transformers into "classic film" territory pre-dating the 80's!
Toy News: Target Exclusives Road Rage and Draculus Go Up for Pre-Order Today
Target's Fall Geek-Out Event started last week with Batman related items, now this week it's time for some new Transformers! First is the previously revealed Road Rage, a redeco and retool of Kingdom Tracks. The second figure revealed this morning is Draculus! Rumored back in early summer, Draculus is the next Collaborative figure featuring a crossover between the classic Dracula monster and Transformers.
Toy News: Amazon Updates "Cyber Battalion" 2-Pack Listing with Images
Last week it was revealed that Amazon was releasing two Cyber Battalion 2-Packs. However, one of these listings did not yet have images at the time, but now they do! Check out the images below for the set featuring Bumblebee versus Starscream. This set appears to be a straight up repack of Bumblebee and Starscream.
Toy News: New Images of "War for Cybertron" Ravage via Dengeki Hobby
Back in July, Hasbro revealed the Pulsecon exclusive "Decepticons Forever Ravage" set that will be available in November 2021. Now thanks to the folks at Dengeki Hobby has posted additional images of this set, with a focus on the two figures included. This gives us a good look at both the Beast Wars Ravage and the G1 reissue Ravage including their deco and weapons.
Toy News: Takara Tomy Mall Lists "Kingdom" Red Alert with New Images
Takara Tomy Mall has posted its listing for Kingdom Red Alert, representing the character with his "Earth Mode". This figure was briefly available on Hasbro Pulse but sold out quickly and has already shipped. The wider release of the figure is supposed to come out at Walgreens stores in the United States, but there have not yet been any mass sightings reported.
Sale Alert: "Cyberverse" Seeker 4-Pack & "Rescue Bots" at Ollie's
Discount chain Ollie's has posted its weekly flier and there are two Transformers items included! First is the (former) Target exclusive Seeker 4-Pack which would make fun "background" Seekers in your display. This set is $19.99 which is a lot cheaper than the original price of $49.99! For younger Transformers fans there are Rescue Bots figures on sale for $4.99 each (originally $9.99). If you have an Ollie's near you, go check it out!
