A couple weeks ago, photos of a previously unannounced "Buzzworthy Bumblebee" Core Class figure appeared online, causing some erm...buzz among fandom. Now thanks to In Demand Toys on Facebook we have more images from this "sub-line" of figures.
BWTF sponsor BigBadToyStore has posted surprise listings for the upcoming Deluxe Class Cyberverse Prowl, Soundwave and Starscream figures! Each figure is a more traditional Generations style figure using the Cyberverse aesthetic relying on transformation as the primary gimmick and even including "Blast Effect" pieces! Back in 2015 Hasbro released a new version of Devastator in the Titan Class. This was the first G1 based version of the character in that class and it sold well enough that after market prices on the toy can go well over $300 (twice the original retail price). Fans who missed out on this figure can now rejoice! Hasbro Pulse has listed new pre-orders for Combiner Wars Devastator!
Today's news drop from the Official Transformers Facebook Page brings us a look at two upcoming R.E.D. figures: Bumblebee and Starscream! Both figures are due April 2021 and will feature non-transforming figures with a bunch of accessories. These are companion lines to other series like Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends offering figures roughly in a 1:12 scale. Like previous R.E.D. releases these will be Walmart exclusives. Pre-orders will go up soon.
Thanks to DaimChoc Reports we have a look at a figure that has yet to be officially announced by Hasbro: Cyberverse Deluxe Class Starscream! Following the release of the first couple of "Deluxe Class" waves, this unexpected figure represents Starscream in his "Cybertronian" form with a focus on articulation, transformation and "Blast Effects". No word yet on when this figure will be released but once it's announced you bet BWTF will post about it!
Thanks to the folks over at In Demand Toys we have an unexpected surprise today! In Demand revealed a previously unannounced War for Cybertron figure: Bumblebee! Specifically, this figure appears to be a Core Class figure with a Spike Witwicky mini-figure included. What is interesting is that the packaging has design elements from all over the place. The Transformers logo on the side has a yellow background, something seen on Bumblebee Movie packaging.
Thanks to a heads up by a post on Tformers.com, we now have new official photography for several of the upcoming Studio Series 86 action figures based on the 1986 animated film! These images come from Amazon Japan and offer fans a better look at what to expect when this line is released.
Following yesterday's awesome Kingdom reveals, retailers have now put these figures up for pre-order! The second wave of Kingdom figures is due to be available in April/May 2021, but with popular characters like Dinobot in the mix it's probably best to get your preorders in now (I know I am). With the Holiday Shopping season upon us, often toy sales emerge in unexpected places. Thanks to fellow fan Erik P., we now have confirmation via circular that Ollie's stores will be carrying the War for Cybertron: Siege Netflix redeco for $24.99! This figure was previously a Wal-Mart Exclusive, part of the first wave of "Netflix" figures. Now fans (near an Ollie's) have a chance at getting this figure at a discount!
