The 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show has begun in Japan and Takara Tomy has begun showing off several new reveals at its booth! Among them is a figure that was teased all the way back in February: Optimus Prime! Below I've mirrored Takara Tomy's post on Twitter/X:
Takara Tomy Mall has posted an official listing for Missing Link Ironhide! First teased about a week ago, this is our best look at its various forms and items included with the figure. Unlike most of the Missing Link line thus far, this figure "reimagines" a G1-era cartoon-accurate Ironhide toy instead of taking the original G1 toy design and giving it articulation. Hasbro has sent BWTF photos and info of the upcoming Collaborative "Hot Wheels x Transformers" figures. Two will be wide releases and a red redeco Twin Mill will be a Target exclusive! Preorders for these figures will go up at 1PM ET today. Check out the info and pics below:
Thanks to the Official Takara Tomy Twitter/X feed, we now have a good look at the upcoming New Legends Nemesis Star Convoy! This is a redeco of the Star Convoy/Star Optimus Prime figure in traditional Nemesis Prime colors including black and metallic teal colors. The Hot Rod Core Class figure has been replaced with a redeco of Legacy Shockwave in colors seemingly inspired by Energon Shockblast! Takara Tomy has not revealed a ton of info yet
Thanks to the Official Takara Tomy Twitter/X page, we now have a full look at the upcoming Missing Link Ironhide figure. Unlike previous Missing Link figures, this one has taken liberties with the G1 design and radically redesigned the figure so it has elements of both the G1 toy and animation model. This is a fairly radical departure from what Missing Link has been so far, which is mostly figures that look like the G1 toy but with added articulation.
