Sad news today from The Hollywood Reporter - voice actor Morgan Lofting has passed away at the age of 75. Long time G.I. Joe and Transformers fans will remember Lofting for her iconic performance as the Cobra operative, Baroness. Lofting also voiced several characters on the Transformers series including Moonracer. There is debate online about whether or not she voiced Firestar which you can read about on the Transformers Wiki.
According to IMDB, Lofting was born February 15, 1949. One of her earliest roles was Princess Invidia in the Starblazers series in 1979. Her live action work included appearances on Trapper John M.D. and Knots Landing. Over the last decade she made several appearances at conventions including Botcon, Retro Con and TFCon.
Ben's World of Transformers offers its deepest condolences to Ms. Lofting's family and loved ones.
